Epcor Construction on 149 Street

Epcor opened two lanes of traffic in both directions on 149 Street between 98 and 100 Avenues on June 19. The southbound turn bay at 100 Ave will remain closed as they are waiting on surface restoration before re-opening that lane.

There is additional work to be completed on the project:

  • The week of June 25 one southbound lane will be closed (during all hours) and one northbound lane will be closed (only during off-peak hours). This will allow Epcor to complete the service connections to Tegler Terrace.
  • Once this is completed, they will put a steel plate on the southbound lane and reopen it to traffic. They will then split traffic to the east side of the road (south of 99 Ave) to complete installation and reconnect hydrants.

It will take approximately 10-12 days to complete the remaining portions of work including surface restoration.
