Come visit us on Saturday for your opportunity to dispose of household items that are too large for regular collection - at no charge! We will also be collecting used bike donations for The Edmonton Bike Swap. In order to dispose at our site, you must be a resident of the community. Please read below for more details.

We cannot accept the following items. These should be taken to an City of Edmonton EcoStation:

  • commercial waste

  • tires
  • paint cans or any other combustible materials placed in the bin ( gas cans, propane tanks )
  • Fridges or freezers not drained of Freon

Recyclable items such as appliances, scrap metal, computers and electronics should be taken to a City of Edmonton EcoStation for recycling.

If our bins fill up before the end of the day, you will be encouraged to take your items to Callingwood (17740 - 69 Ave) for a city wide Big Bin Event being hosted May 7and 8.

Below is a map of where to arrive and how the bins will be arranged.

Community League Team members will be present to help with directing traffic and placement of waste. They can not guarantee any help to lift large objects however, you must be able to unload and dispose of yourself. Volunteers have the final say on what can and cannot be disposed of.

If you have any questions on what to bring for either the BIG BIN event or the COMMUNITY CLEANUP, please reply to this email!

Memberships will also be available for purchase from team members.

***PLEASE NOTE: We will attempt to run both events rain or shine! If we have very bad rain, the Community Clean Up might get postponed.

Outdoor Rinks: Closed

Our outdoor rinks are closed for the season.  Thank you to everyone who came out to skate, and especially to those who worked hard to build and maintain them this winter.
