City of Edmonton Flood Maps
The City of Edmonton flood maps reveal a new storm water pipe is proposed on 149th Street from the river to 107th Avenue. Also, all the storm pipes in West Jasper Place and Sherwood show they are at capacity during a heavy rain. With a significant rain, the water may move up the manhole and impact basement flooding. For more information, Google city-wide flood mitigation study.

Community League Membership
The community league has a tripartite agreement with the EFCL and City of Edmonton. Through consensus building, the community league provides a voice for homeowners at city council meetings. Membership with the community league permits children to participate in hockey and soccer. Individuals may swim at no cost at the Jasper Place pool at 9200-163 Street, from September to June, on Saturdays, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. (bring your membership card). In the winter, members may skate at no cost on our community league ice rink. Also, members in good standing, after one year, may rent our community league hall. Click for more information.
