Community Programs
The Community Hall is open for recreation.
Kids & Parents Group
Thursdays from 2 pm - 4 pm at the League Hall (9620 152 Street). No cost to attend.
Programing and activities for children ages 0-10. Refreshments for parents. We will have board members and facilitators from the Family Resource Network present. Parents can connect with other parents or the facilitators whom can offer a hits of resources.
Hosted by West Jasper Sherwood Community League in partnership with Jasper Place Family Resource Centre.
Everyone is welcome. Parents stay, not a drop off program. Small in-take form on first visit.
Community Swim
WJS Community League members can enjoy free swimming during the following public swim times at Jasper Place Pool** (9200 163 Street). **Starting January 1st, Jasper Place Pool will be closed until mid March. Our free swim will be at Commonwealth during that period.
- Saturdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Sundays from 1:00PM to 3:00PM
Please bring your proof of Community League Membership.
Card Games
Progressive Rummy
Wednesdays from 5:30 to 9:30 PM
You don’t need a partner, just drop in. The cost is $5.00 per person. Beverages are provided. Payout is based on the number of players.
Cribbage Tournaments

Carpet Bowling
Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM
The cost is $1.00 per person.
