Meet & Greet and Membership Drive

On Saturday, September 16th , 2017, from noon until 3:00 p.m., we will have food and activities.

If there is enough interest, we would like to celebrate our diversity with a potluck. Residents who would like to share their favorite dishes, please contact Paulette @ 780-484-8400 or email phagel@gmail.com.

Memberships will also be available. ** Please provide your email address when registering.

Fees: Family - $25.00 for September 16th only ($30.00 other days);
Single (18 and over) - $15.00;
Senior (55 & over) - $5.00.

2017/18 membership cards will be stamped in red with West Jasper/Sherwood Community League and are available in September. The 2017/18 membership cards with numbers 17-47001 to 17-47200 cannot be found. Those cards are now invalidated and will not be accepted.

Through consensus building, the community league provides a voice for homeowners at city council meetings. Membership with the community league allows children to participate in hockey and soccer. In the winter, members may skate at no cost on our community league ice rink.

Meet at the YEG Market, 152 Street & SPR Urban Plaza

Farm and Craft market, food trucks and entertainment. Wednesdays 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. until September 13th .


Free Drop-In Green Shack Program

Games, crafts, sports, outdoor cooking and more. Ages 6 to 12 welcomed; ages 5 and under must be supervised by a guardian. Runs Monday through Friday. Starts Tuesday, July 4th to Thursday, August 24th, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Arthur Elliot Park, 9620-152 Street

Family Nature Nights 2017

Learn about mushrooms, butterflies, birds, and mammals and the habitat we share with them right here in Edmonton's green spaces. Join local nature enthusiasts and deepen the connection between your family and our beautiful, complex planet.

The mission of Family Nature Nights is to promote positive experiences for youth and their families with nature, science and urban wilderness. Programming is designed for 6-10 year olds, but nature lovers of all ages are welcome.

Family Nature Nights are free 2 hour events that occur in locations across Edmonton. In 2017, there are a total of 6 events planned for Wednesday nights throughout July and August.
