Flu Shot Clinic

West Jasper Place / Sherwood Community League is partnering with Pharmasave to host a FREE Flu Clinic

Date: SUNDAY NOV 7, 2021

Time: Clinic hours are 2:00PM - 4:00PM

Who: Any  community members  ages 5 and up. 

WHERE:  9620 152 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5P 4N9 (Community Hall)

Minimum 20 people needed to hold the clinic.

Play Rangers at the Green Shack

Up for an adventure? Join the Play Rangers as we venture around our community trying to find everything on a scavenger hunt.

Play Rangers is an extension of the summer Green Shack Program that is happening at our community playground beside the Hall, on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. The theme will be Community walk and scavenger hunt . Please bring:

  • Closed Toe Shoes

  • Dressed for the weather

  • Water

  • Snacks

Annual General Meeting

Join us on October 25th, from 7 - 8pm on Zoom (unless provincial guidelines change) as we review our board, financials, and look to the future of our Community League.

All are welcome, voting on motions is reserved for members though! More details to come for registration.

Big Bin Event

Visit our Big Bin Event for your opportunity to dispose of household items that are too large for regular collection - at no charge! 

Drop offs at the Community League Building can be made between 1 and 6pm on Saturday, Oct.. 2 and Sunday Oct. 3.

We cannot accept the following items. These should be taken to an City of Edmonton EcoStation:

  • commercial waste
  • hazardous waste materials
  • tires
  • paint cans or any other combustible materials placed in the bin ( gas cans, propane tanks )
  • Fridges or freezers not drained of Freon

Recyclable items such as appliances, scrap metal, computers and electronics should be taken to a City of Edmonton EcoStation for recycling.

 


Last Bark in the Park

On September 26, 2021, bring your dogs out at 9am to enjoy some coffee and time for the dogs to play in the rink before it closes at the end of the month.

We would love to hear your feedback on the Dog Rink Pilot Project as well so we can plan for an even better off leash area for 2022.
