Summer Baseball Camps
Summer baseball camps are now taking registrations. These camps will run out of a new indoor batting cage and field house location in NW Edmonton. The camps are being organized by Northeast Zone Sports.

Free Pop-Up Play in Sherwood
Join in games, sports, crafts, music, drama and special events 2 days a week. Program targeted for ages 6 to 12, but all children welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Runs Wednesday and Friday, from Wednesday, July 3 to Friday, August 23, 2019, 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 93 Ave. and 155 Street.
Free Drop-in Green Shack Program
Crafts, games, sports and free play. Program targeted for ages 6 to 12, but all children welcome if accompanied by an adult. Runs Monday through Friday, from Tuesday, July 2 to Thursday, August 22, 2019, 2:30 to 6:00 p.m., at Arthur Elliot Park, 9620-152 Street.
Children's Learn to Bike Classes
Young children's "learn to ride" program in Edmonton called Little Wheels Training is being held for children age 2 to 4+ at Athlone Community League Hall, 13010 129 Street.
Classes run on Tuesdays for 8 weeks, starting July 2, 2019. Cost is $90.
In this round, there will be three classes offered:
- 9:30 - 10:30 Beginner [ classes for the newer or more tentative rider. ]
- 10:30 - 11:30 Advanced [ skills is for the little cruiser who wants to do even more! ]
- 6:00 - 7:00 mixed skills [ will be for everyone ]
All classes emphasize traffic safety and are lots of fun. Get your little one biking safely this summer.
In addition, all participants are requested to have a current community league membership.

City Of Edmonton Big Bin Event
On August 17th and 18th at 9200-163 Street, the City of Edmonton will host a Big Bin Event from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Drop off your unwanted furniture, mattresses, large household appliances, computers, televisions, etc. Items will also be accepted for the Reuse Centre. No hazardous waste such as paint, varnish, household cleaners or batteries will be accepted.
