Here are four upcoming community activities at the hall, in order of date.
1. Art Extravaganza!
Saturday, August 22 · 5:00–9:00 p.m.
Main Hall (9620 152 St NW)
Join us for an art show and sale featuring local artists, dance performances by TriDevi Dance, Sharina Patel, and Mariah Dumont, an origami workshop, and more. This collaborative event is presented with Seeds of Hope Art Collective and Let’sP.O.P. Everyone is welcome.
2. Community Dinner
Thursday, August 27 · Doors at 5:30 p.m.; meal at 6:00 p.m.
Main Hall (9620 152 St NW)
Join neighbours. Back by popular demand, BBQ, again! Halal and vegetarian options will be available, along with dessert. This event is held on the last Thursday of each month.

3. Meal Prep Workshop
Sunday, August 30 · 2:00–4:00 p.m.
Main Hall (9620 152 St NW)
Join neighbours for a hands-on meal preparation workshop. The $69 registration fee includes the cost of the food, and participants take the meals they prepare home with them.
RSVP required. The workshop is $69 per parent. Child care is available for $10 per child through the Overtime Athletics Program.

4. Young Adults Hangout
Monday, August 31 · 7:00–9:30 p.m.
Main Hall (9620 152 St NW)
Come by for a relaxed, low-pressure evening shaped by the people who attend. Play video games, table tennis, darts, or cards, listen to music, chat with friends, or simply spend time in a welcoming community space. Bring a favourite card or board game, game console, or music to share. You can also connect your device to the speakers and help choose the evening’s soundtrack.
There is no set way to participate. Join an activity, start something new, meet people, or take it easy. We welcome suggestions for future hangouts and want the evening to reflect the interests of local students. Come with friends or on your own.
The hangout takes place on the last Monday of each month and is open to students in Grades 10–12.
