New Board, New Groove!
On behalf of the entire board, thank you so much to everyone who attended this year's AGM! It was a tremendous success with one of our best turnouts ever. With some new and familiar faces, we are all ready to introduce new and exciting programs, events, and initiatives, along with continuing our amazing current offerings for the community! LEGO Build Night
Have lots of toy bricks (LEGO, Mega Blocks, and other LEGO-clone brands) but have no idea what to do with them? Always wanted to build your own creation but don’t know how? On Friday, June 20, 2025, come to West Jasper & Sherwood Community League, we will have a toy brick build workshop where you can freestyle, build simple sets, and learn to DESIGN SIMPLE LEGO SETS with Bricklink Studio v.2.0!
TOY BRICK BUILD WORKSHOP: Friday, June 20, 2025 – 6 PM to 9 PM
LOCATION: West Jasper & Sherwood Community League (9620 152 St NW, Edmonton)
Come and watch the ‘Design Simple LEGO Sets’ 2 hours presentation by Let’s P.O.P.! – if you want to follow along, attendees can get ‘Studio Download [Bricklink]’ – free online (Google ‘Studio 2.0’) - onto their laptops (the app will not work on tablets and smartphones). Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own toy bricks as your designs will be based on what you have in your toy brick inventory.
Volunteer Party
Our volunteer party will be held on June 16th from 7pm-8:30pm at the hall. Everyone welcome.

Voices of WJS
Voices of WJS is a grassroots movement led by the community. Their views are NOT endorsed by the West Jasper Sherwood Community League Organization. We simply wish to liaise and let their message be heard by the community. Check out this new Voices of WJS page for more of their content.
Though originally scheduled for June, a Voices of WJS engagement session has been postponed until July. More information on the date will be announced before the event. Free snacks and drinks will be served.
