Our free monthly community dinner will take place tonight, December 18th! Join us at 6:00 pm for a turkey dinner cooked by our volunteers. A secret guest will join us at 7:00 pm with gifts for the kids.
The previous newsletter used the word "Townhall" on the poster for our WinterFeast. However, the event will not be formally moderated. We apologize for any confusion. It will simply be an opportunity for community league members to meet and greet with the city councillors representing the West Jasper Sherwood Community League. Councillors Reed Clarke and Thu Parmar will attend and speak at 7:30 pm. Our goal is to be wrapped up by 8:00 pm so everyone can get home at a reasonable time.
Next month's community dinner will resume on the regularly scheduled last Thursday of the month. We look forward to seeing you all!
