Welcome to our latest community update! We have a busy summer ahead with plenty of opportunities to connect with your neighbors, learn new skills, and celebrate the volunteers who make our league possible.
New Board, New Groove!
On behalf of the entire board, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended this year's AGM! It was a tremendous success with one of our best turnouts ever. With a mix of new and familiar faces, we are energized and ready to introduce exciting new programs, events, and initiatives alongside our beloved current offerings.

LEGO Build Night
Do you have bins of toy bricks (LEGO, Mega Blocks, or other brands) but aren't sure what to do with them? Whether you want to freestyle your own creation or learn the technical side of building, join us on Friday, June 20, 2025, for a special workshop!
When: Friday, June 20, 2025 — 6 PM to 9 PM
Where: West Jasper & Sherwood Community League (9620 152 St NW, Edmonton)
During the evening, "Let’s P.O.P.!" will host a two-hour presentation on how to design simple LEGO sets using Bricklink Studio v.2.0. If you'd like to follow along, please download the free "Studio 2.0" software onto your laptop beforehand (note: the app does not work on tablets or smartphones). We also encourage you to bring your own bricks so you can build based on your personal inventory.

Volunteer Party
We want to celebrate the amazing people who give their time to our community! Our Volunteer Party will be held on June 16th from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the community hall. Everyone is welcome to join the festivities.

Voices of WJS
Voices of WJS is a grassroots movement led by local residents. While their views are not officially endorsed by the West Jasper Sherwood Community League, we are happy to act as a liaison to ensure their message reaches the neighborhood.
