New Communications Director, Technology Assistance Program, Community Garden Leader
Hello! My name is Levi!
Our AGM was on April 24th, and I had the pleasure of being appointed as the Communications Director for the Board. I've lived in West Jasper Place since July 2022, and I'll be the voice of your monthly newsletter for the next year, along with helping to revamp our website and social media presence. I'm excited to get the opportunity to help make our community an even better place to call home, and I look forward to meeting more of those in WJS.
New Board, New Groove!
On behalf of the entire board, thank you so much to everyone who attended this year's AGM! It was a tremendous success with one of our best turnouts ever. With some new and familiar faces, we are all ready to introduce new and exciting programs, events, and initiatives, along with continuing our amazing current offerings for the community! Tech Support & Free Pizza
Next Thursday, May 22nd, from 5:30pm-8pm, WJSCL will host a Bring-Your-Own-Device Technology Assistance Night! Come out to the hall and get some help free of charge. Pizza will also be provided if you want to come and hang out!
Community Dinner
Join us on May 29th at 6 pm for our next community dinner. Enjoy a free meal and get to know your neighbours! Sign up here so we can order the right amount of food! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the last dinner during the AGM.
Community Garden Plots
May long is upon us, so that means it's time to get your seeds in the ground if you don't already! Register for your community garden plot before they run out. Contact garden@westjaspersherwood.ca for more information and to get on the list. If you're interested in volunteering to help build permanent garden boxes, please let us know!
