Welcome to our latest community update! We have a busy season ahead filled with winter festivities, delicious food, and opportunities to help shape the future of our neighborhood.
Winter Festival 2024
Mark your calendars for February 25th! We are hosting an afternoon of classic winter fun for the whole family. Come out and enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, hot food, hockey games, and cozy fire pits where we'll be making bannock.
More details will be shared as we get closer to the date. If you would like to help us make this event a success, please reach out to alison@westjaspersherwood.ca.
Monthly Community Dinners

Starting January 25th, we are launching a new tradition! Join us from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on the last Thursday of every month for a community dinner. These evenings are designed to be a low-commitment way to connect with your neighbors and have a say in our league's work.
Each dinner will include:
- A delicious meal provided by a local restaurant.
- Time to socialize and meet new friends.
- A brief presentation on community building.
- 45 minutes of collaborative time to work on meaningful league projects.
To help us plan for the January dinner or future dates, please sign up here or email josh@westjaspersherwood.ca.
The Dog Park has Moved!
Attention pet owners: the community dog park has officially moved from the hockey rink to the tennis courts. The new space is now open and ready for your furry friends to enjoy!
Join our Board!
We are looking for passionate residents to help strengthen our League. If you've ever considered serving on the Board, we would love to chat with you. We are particularly looking for neighbors with skills in:

Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, let’s connect to discuss the League’s vision and how you can help. Email josh@westjaspersherwood.ca to learn more.
