Welcome to our late autumn update! We have several community initiatives and events coming up to keep us connected and healthy as we head into the winter season.
Winter Wonderland
Get ready to celebrate the season at the West Jasper Sherwood Winter Wonderland! This free outdoor event is the perfect way to embrace the crisp air and enjoy some festive fun with your neighbors.
- When: Sunday, December 19, starting at 4:00 PM
- Where: West Jasper Place Community Hall
We have a wonderful afternoon planned featuring skating, cozy fire pits, a photo booth to capture memories, and plenty of hot chocolate to keep you warm. Please note that this event is weather-dependent; if the temperature drops significantly, be sure to check back for updates.
Community League Swim Program
Please be advised that the Community League Swim Program will remain on hold for the remainder of 2021. Due to a current shortage of lifeguards, the city is focusing on maintaining as many public swim opportunities as possible rather than returning to pre-pandemic operating hours. We expect to provide a further update regarding the status of the program by December 10th.

It is time to renew! You can now purchase your 2021/2022 membership for yourself and your entire household. You can purchase online here or visit us at one of our upcoming events to buy your membership in person.

Alberta Covid-19 QR Code Printing
If you are having trouble printing a copy of your Alberta Covid-19 QR code—which is required as of November 15th for access to facilities under the Exemption Program—we are here to help. During our upcoming flu clinic on Sunday, November 7, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, a volunteer will be available with a computer and printer. Simply bring your Alberta Health Care number, your birthdate, and the month/year of one of your vaccinations.
Flu Shot Clinic
West Jasper Place / Sherwood Community League is proud to partner with Pharmasave to host a FREE Flu Clinic for our members.
- Date: Sunday, November 7, 2021
- Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Community Hall (9620 152 St NW, Edmonton)
- Eligibility: Any community members ages 5 and up.
We require a minimum of 20 participants to hold the clinic, so please book your spot! To sign up or ask questions, contact Carrie at carrie@pharmasavewestmount.com or call (780) 249-9901.
What to bring: Your Alberta Health Services (AHS) card and a completed Flu Vaccination Consent Form. We look forward to seeing you there!
