Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or trying Jiu-Jitsu for the first time, adult classes offer incredible benefits for fitness, confidence, and community.
We use the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) standard belt ranking system.
White, Blue, Purple, Brown, and Black belts.
White, Gray, Yellow, Orange, and Green belts.
Once a student reaches age 16, a green belt may be ranked as an adult blue to continue practice. If you do not have a belt, one will be provided.
Both Gi and NoGi competition categories award points in rounds of 5 to 10 minutes. Training uses 5-minute rounds.

A traditional BJJ kimono with matching jacket and pants in white, blue, or black, plus a ranked belt (white for beginners).
Fight shorts and rash guard with short or long sleeves. Spats under shorts are optional.
If you do not have a uniform, ask for purchase recommendations.
Class structure can vary but typically follows a 1–1½ hour format:
